Technical data

The proof, not just the claims.

Independent JIS/ISO tests, a field trial in a hot climate, full data and downloadable documents. Everything to qualify ThermBlock rigorously.

Two identical security cabins 50 m apart (same exposure). One coated with ThermBlock, one bare. Identical A/C (1.5 ton, 23 °C set point). Electric meters read over 252 hours (10.5 days), in two runs.

Result of both runs: 39.4% then 39.6% savings.

Meter readings: 170.0 kWh for the coated cabin versus 280.5 kWh for the control cabin, a 39.4% saving.
First run readings: 170.0 kWh (coated cabin) versus 280.5 kWh (control). From the THERMBLOCK Japan Co., Ltd test report.

Tested in every climate

From the desert to the Himalayas.

ThermBlock doesn't only push heat away: applied indoors, it also limits losses. Four trials, three continents, summer and winter.

−3.5 °C at indoor peak

Corrugated metal shelters (−3 °C on containers). No night-time penalty: the gap returns to 0 °C.

Winter 2015, applied on an inner wall

Kathmandu, Nepal

+5 °C in the room

Consulting room at Kathmandu Neuro Center: the wall gains 1 °C, the room 5 °C.

Winter 2016, applied on an inner wall

Saitama, Japan

+3 °C in the room

Gain measured while the outdoor temperature was 4 °C lower than the previous day.

Indoor temperature curves of a corrugated metal shelter in Jordan: the ThermBlock-treated version stays 3.5 °C cooler at peak heat.
